With and/or without the ‘hegemon’ armtwisting bully?

But Doug McGregor quotes George Washington and says nations cannot be expected to go beyond their own self interest.
So it is interesting to note that every nation currently seems to be going beyond their own self interest.
The nations of Europe are destroying themselves.
At the behest of america !
Germany fell on its sword when it accepted usa destroying Nordstream, didn’t it? It’s economy is falling like a brick right now.
All of Europe impoverished its military to feed kiev ukraine and the impoverishment increases. Trade embargoes and sanctions impoverish everyone.
Nations everywhere in Europe and the Anglosphere are ‘going beyond their national interest’.
Why? Well you’d think it must be because they don’t see it that way. The leaders,t he decision makers of those nations must know something they are not telling us and that makes these decisions, these suicides, seem rational.
They don’t tell us this thing because it is so awful they don’t want us to know.
Could it simply be that america tells them ‘If we go down you go down too‘ ? That ‘If we lose Trade supremacy you will lose trade and your people will be jobless.‘ ?
That ‘If we lose total military power then you lose protection and you’ll be at war‘ ?
If that were the case then we ought to consider that claim of the americans. Test it, check it out, think about it.
Even if it is not the case that the americans say this, twist arms with this, blackmail and coerce with this, it still remains the implied danger of the future in these ‘uncertain times’.
So it still needs considering.
America, 5% of the world’s population, is claiming either overtly or implicitly that it is essential to the world’s trade and the world’s military peace and that it can only do its ‘job’ when it enjoys its current power to control everyone and everything.
A power, incidentally that it only thinks it has. Does not really have. Thinks it has.
So the suggestion, the threat, is that if it ‘goes down’ then all trade goes down. And we all have no one to trade with, no one to sell things to, nowhere to buy from.
Without trade we will have manufacturing and primary production without purpose and it will dwindle and stop.
And thousands will be without work. No work: no money. No money: no food. No food: riots.
That’s the threat. That makes the nations obey and destroy themselves to appease the americans and that the national leaders are frightened to tell their people.
Is it? Is that it? It certainly looks like it doesn’t it?
And if america ‘goes down’ then we will have no ‘military protection‘ and we’ll be attacked on all sides. Starving and rioting we’ll then be attacked, we’ll be under siege, too.
Frightening scenario to put before effete brain dead sycophantic egocentric sinecured hereditarily wealthy and cosseted ‘governing classes’ isn’t it?
So check it out. Is this our likely future if america ‘goes down’ ? ‘going down’ meaning, in the first instance, not any kind of harm or destruction to america at all but simply preventing it controlling affairs of all other nations on the planet, simply stopping it embargoing and starving nations to death, simply stopping it fomenting wars all over the globe.
Will that ‘going down’ of america mean death and destruction to us all?
Or could it be different?
Could it mean burgeoning free trade across the whole planet? Could it mean an outbreak of peaceful coexisence here there and everywhere? Could it mean an exchange of goods without an impost on top being the rake off for ‘reserve currency hegemon america’ ? Could it mean a freeing of capital across the world for investment where most needed rather than where dictated?
We need to know. Don’t we?
Down on the street level we want to know if we will have jobs, money, food next year, is first, foremost, uppermost.
We need our gurus, our reporters, our analysts to prophesy report and analyse that. We have governments to do that for us.
But we all know that universally our governments are totally absent without leave, not fit for purpose.
They tell us nothing truthful about anything at all and least of all about these ‘world shaking’ events and factors.
So we need our wordy, self important, self conscious, smart ass, gurus, journalists, ‘analysts’ to do it for us.
Instead of banging on endlessly about the latest monstrous doings of the monster.
We got the message already.
We need to do as much as we can ourselves, even, in this modern world, with AI and such helping us find facts. Where we can do so much if we try.
But we need their ‘professional help‘ for that’s what they apparently think they are good at.
So okay. Let them get onto it.
What does our future look like:
(a) with a bankrupt, corrupt de facto arms factory america hegemon pushing the world around, blackmailing everyone, controlling everything, destroying everything – i.e. business as usual and
(b) with that monster being beaten back into its corner ?
